What You'll Do:
As a Community Turn Maintenance Assistant, you’ll assist with a variety of tasks in preparation of apartment turn season.
This person will offer support to our maintenance teams to ensure our residents have the best possible experience living in our communities.
This is a temporary, non-exempt position, reporting to the Property Manager.
Where You'll Work:
Ascend Richmond Student Living is a brand new 428-bed off-campus student housing apartment community located in Richmond, VA, less than 4 blocks away from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Featuring one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom floorplans, residents have access to a state-of-the-art amenity package including a resort-style pool, indoor and outdoor fitness center with TRX Training Equipment, social lounge, coffee bar, and relaxation wellness room.
Your Responsibilities:
Provide support and assistance to all customer service efforts at the community.
Provide exceptional service to current, future, and past residents.
Assist in the turnover process in all units.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and maintenance in a interior and exterior areas of the property and proactively communicate any problems to the appropriate party.
Examples of duties include:
Picking up trash on the grounds
Watering flowers, plants, and shrubs
Swimming pool maintenance/cleaning
Sweepings, blowing, or pressure washing breezeways, parking lots, and common areas
Completes other tasks as directed and assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and write English fluently.
Basic computer skills required.
Must be able to frequently walk and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Must be able to lift/move loads up to 50lbs as well as use a ladder.
Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property and have reliable transportation to participate in on-call duties.
