Main Street Realty is looking for an experienced and energetic Tax Credit Property Manager for the Richmond area.
We are looking for responsible candidates that can be accountable to protect, maintain, and enhance the value of commercial real estate assets in order to maximize the financial return.
We are also looking for someone who is empathetic and has the ability to lead a team and influence positive employee morale.
Primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: * Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and all other laws pertaining to apartments * Maintains occupancy while providing superior customer service to current tenants and prospective tenants * Manages and oversees all property operations, including other site personnel * Conducts training of staff in order to achieve operational goals * Market vacant space to prospective tenants.
* Conducts resident screening for approving all potential resident applications * Collects deposits, rent, and issues receipts as necessary * Ensures that all records are accurate, posted, and stored correctly * Assists in formulation and submission of budgets for each upcoming calendar year * Prepares and sends notice of returned checks, late rent reminders, and other correspondence as assigned * Resolves resident complaints, answers resident questions, and monitors the resolution of problem * Performs other duties as necessary to meet the needs of residents and the property *Skills* * Minimum of 4 years of tax credit property management experience * Strong customer service * Concise and tactful communication * Attention to detail * Computer proficiency * Ability to focus with occasional interruption * Highly motivated with the ability to take initiative and lead * Tax credit experience and in-depth knowledge of affordable housing programs * Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and all other laws pertaining to apartments * While the following are not required, they are the characteristics of a stand-out candidate * Yardi experience * HCCP designation We offer the following benefits: * Competitive annual salary * Eligibility for quarterly bonuses * 15 days of paid time off * Accrues at 4.
