Hello,
Roommate wanted in a shared house in Fulton/Montrose.
3 bedroom home, off street parking in a quiet neighborhood.
1 Bedroom is being used as an office, the other is being used as a guest room so is currently furnished, but can be removed.
The other is being used by me.
Choice of which one would be best and furniture would be removed.
Rent is $900 for the room/houseshare.
Utilities are roughly $223 for electricity, $40 for internet, $85 for water.
Electricity is averaged and the same amount paid monthly.
Monthly amount changes at the beginning of the year as it averages the last 12 months so might go up.
Available as soon as a suitable person is found!
Ideally looking for someone to share the house with and not just someone who stays in their room.
Obviously this is fine and wouldn't force you to spend time together, but in general looking for someone who wants to be roommates and not just rent a room.
Detached Garage in the back for storage, but is a bit messy.
Backyard has a fence, but gates are not secured enough to let dogs/pets out without supervision.
Current roommate is 34, ok with any age though so long as credit is ok, background is ok, and generally get along with eachother.
Ideally looking for someone upbeat and social, but not a huge partier as the home should be a safe place to retreat to.
Not looking for huge party type people.
Pets are ok, but depending on the situation, might need a deposit.
I'm drug and alcohol free, but ok with canna and drinking, but nothing further and please not excessively.
I'm a smoker, but do so outside.
Have lived with men, women, gay, straight, bi, cats, dogs, children so I'm open to any gender, any race, any sexual orientation.
Previous roommates were a mother and child, and graduate student, prior to them needing the space so I purchased my own home.
Before that was a working professional woman out in Short Pump, and before that was a married couple with 3 children and 2 dogs.
I'm ok with students, but would need to ensure income/source of rent payment.
As I'm probably a 10-15 minute drive from VCC, likely difficult
for one to walk there.
Bus line is close, down the hill, but not a terribly easy place to walk to downtown.
Happy to discuss any details about the house, but please be patient as every time I've searched there have been multiple inquiries.
