We are a millennial family of three looking to rent out the basement of our home.
The property is located in the Ladysmith Village community in Ruther Glen.
The basement has been completely unused other than for extra storage.
Conveniently located 2 miles from IS-95 and between Richmond and Fredericksburg for easy commute access.
We are also located just 15 miles from Kings Dominion.
Access to community amenities will be available including: -4500 sqf Olympic Pool w/ water gym and water slide -Gym -Library -Canal Path/Trail -Amphitheater Events -Weekly Food Trucks -Garden The basement includes the following: -Private Entrance -Private full bathroom (unused) -Around 1,200 square feet of finished living space -All utilities included -Mini fridge with freezer -Access to shared large kitchen with gas range and stainless steel appliances for cooking (no storage available) -Access to front loader Washer/Dryer on the top floor -Full speed WiFi (in the process of replacing with mesh system) -Optional access to Hulu/Netflix/HBO Max/Disney+/Amazon for an added account fee.
We do not have cable and will not start a subscription for it, sorry -On that note above, it is legal to grow in VA and we only grow two at a time so you’re able to as well Street parking unless you want access to a garage slot for an added $100/month.
We also have four cats, but the have never had access to the basement.
Lease would be renewed on a 6 month interval.
Please no families.
We are renting this to one adult.
We may allow children for an additional cost.
Please keep in mind that us renting the basement would not be permanent.
Most likely just for the next 2 years.
