Male Green cheek conure (Northside Richmond)

6 year old male green cheek conure looking for a new home.
We’ve only had him for about a month.
Prior owner said he never bit and was very gentle with kids and guests but when we took him home he attached to me and has had issues not wanting my children or partner to get too close to me.
Clearly an attachment issue caused by the stress of rehoming but something we have found ourselves unequipped to deal with.
Loves to be with people and can be the sweetest little bird but needs someone experienced with birds.
Can say peekaboo and pretty bird.
Does spins on command and we’ve been working on target training with him.
