Been doing this guitar hobby thing for about 20 years off and on.
Never got good enough to make it big or be in a gigging band.
Played with some real good players and some beginners.
Learned and forgot more songs and styles than I can remember.
Looking to have those musical conversations with other players with no pretense other than just playing.
In 20 years I've learned that I'm not "good" and probably never will be but I love the music and will never stop loving it.

I started out listening to guys like Vai and Satriani and through them discovered everything from the 80's hair bands, 70's rock and metal, blues, jazz and progressive.
Current stuff I'm messing around with are, The Police, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Allman Brothers, Black Sabbath and U2.
Not saying I sound like any of them but that's the stuff I'm messing with.
