Cardinal Civil Resources is currently looking for an employee with high integrity and an excellent attention to detail in order to fill a position as a CADD Tech.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Ideal candidate would serve as a Survey CADD Operator & possess a superior skill set that includes:
Perform some office duties, including data reduction, field note reduction, calculations, data checks and staking computations using survey computer programs and IntelliCAD
Daily CADD production to complete Boundary, Topographic, House Location Surveys.
In addition, drafting of Grading Plans, Easement Plats, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys etc.
Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD (Primary)
GIS (Secondary)
Attention to detail and self-motivated with the ability to think critically
Performs mathematical calculations and checking of field data
Reads and understands plans and specifications
Know basic sources of measurement errors
Basic understanding of geometry and grading
Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience

A high school education or equivalent is required including a background in math, geometry, and trigonometry
Minimum 3 years of experience
Previous experience working in Civil Engineering environment
Knowledge of Carlson Civil Suites with IntelliCAD is required
Possess good interpersonal skills, and effective written and oral communication skills
Attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential requirements
Valid driver's license with insurable record
