The Allen Law Firm, a leader in protecting the injured for generations, is seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant in our Richmond, VA office to manage client case files as they progress through the pre-litigation process.
Working alongside an Attorney, the ideal candidate will provide excellent service and have superior organizational skills to ensure our clients are receiving the best outcome for their case.
As a Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant, you will:
Serve as primary contact for the client - participating in intake interviews, recording and obtaining required case notes and documents, and responding to questions regarding legal issues and case status.
Drive efficiency through detailed case management, ensuring the smooth and timely execution of matters and communication throughout the lifetime of the case.
Prepare legal documents (letters, pleadings, etc.
)
Manage, audit and negotiate liens, including those associated with Medicare, Medicaid and Workers Comp.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
High School Diploma/GED and 1 year of Firm experience (Personal Injury preferred)
Experience with case management system (Litify preferred)
