*Position Overview:* As the Litigation Managing Attorney, you will lead the charge in offering assistance to clients, helping them seek justice and compensation for their injuries.
This role demands handling case files from inception to conclusion, encompassing all litigation phases, with the invaluable aid of a team of adept support professionals.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Manage personal injury case files from start to finish.
* Analyze incident summaries for serious injuries upon case assignment.
* Assess the value of cases within the first 30 days.
* Conduct monthly file reviews.
* Draft, review, and modify various legal documents.
* Ensure punctual client communication and maintain deadlines.
* Represent clients in hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions.
* Negotiate agreements beneficial for clients.
* Oversee all liens and expenses prior to client settlement disbursement.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Desired Skills & Experience:* * Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Ability to grasp medical terminologies and knowledge of personal injury/tort law.
* Demonstrated organizational abilities in fast-paced environments.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and relevant data technology software.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.
* Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
*Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctorate from an ABA-approved law school.
* Membership in the State Bar Association.
* Licensed to practice in Federal Court.
* At least five years of personal injury litigation experience.
* Trial experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, or other civil litigation practice areas is a plus.
*Additional Information:* * First Chair Jury trial experience is essential.
* Experience in Trucking cases, Sex assault, catastrophic cases, medical malpractice, TBI, and auto accidents is beneficial.
* Proven record in managing a team, inclusive of 4 litigation attorneys and five paralegals.
