We are looking to hire a Director for our Right of Way Department.

*Education/Required Experience*
* A minimum of ten (10) years of active Right of Way experience (appraising, negotiations, relocations, or legal) .
* Extensive experience in providing right of way services for VDOT desired.
* Ability to manage and develop a professional Right of Way staff.
* Ability to manage project and section schedules, budgets, and personnel.
* A thorough understanding of the VDOT Right of Way process and the laws and regulations governing it.
* Ability to deal and communicate effectively with the client, the public, and elected officials.
* Ability to meet with potential clients and market the services offered by RDA.
* Excellent communication skills as well as public speaking abilities and adeptness in a variety of social/business situations.
