Tingen Law is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) paralegal for its immigration law practice, and its immigration court practice in particular.
A paralegal degree or certification is not required by Virginia Law.
However, candidates must have a minimum of two years of college education to be considered for this position.
This is an entry-level position and training can be provided.

You will also meet the staff when you come for your interview so you can get a feel for the environment here in the office.
Depending on the specific assignments and case tracks a paralegal is assigned to, a paralegal’s duties will include the following:
* Meet with clients and send/sign the contract;
* Do affidavits with clients;
* Provide evidence lists to clients;
* Manages all Cases in our CRM;
* Fill out applications;
* Organize evidence and prepare applications for attorney review;
* Translate/interpret for English-only attorneys;
* Check and follow up on court calendars and communicate with clients regarding pending court dates;
* Prepare cover letters, motions, memos, and other legal documents as directly by the attorneys;
* Generate legal bills;
* Perform a minimum of 30 billable hours of work each week on client cases.

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 to 5.
