Medical Transportation Driver

Medical Transport (NEMT) is looking for a dynamic, collaborative, adaptable Supervisor for the Dispatch team.
Responsibilities include system status management, planning, and oversight of Transport vans, deployment, supervision of a team of Dispatchers and Call Takers, staffing duties, dispatch policy and protocol development, data entry and reporting, obtaining pre-authorizations, software management, and other non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) compliance functions.
A supervisor may be required to fill in for Dispatcher and Call Taker shifts and may occasionally support field operations for critical needs.
The Supervisor will be the staff to create a cohesive, highly effective, and safe environment for patients and staff members.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
An associate’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience: 2 Plus years of experience dispatching emergency services or commercial NEMT required.

Skills: Proven experience as a Driver.
A valid driver’s license.
A clean driving record.
Minimum visual acuity corrected to 20/50.
Familiarity with GPS devices.
Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods.
Ability to lift heavy weights.
Availability to occasionally take the weekend.
A polite and professional disposition.
Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations.
