2012 Honda Accord - $8,500 (Prince George)

I am selling my 2012 Honda Accord with only 101,331 miles.
This car actually belonged to my mother who no longer feels comfortable driving and would like to sell.
The good: The vehicle has been regularly maintained with no major or minor mechanical issues in the 8 years we've owned it The vehicle has tires in excellent condition All of the vehicles components function properly, power windows/locks/windshield wipers/radio/etc.
The vehicles body is in good condition with only minor cosmetic damage, no dents or serious scratches The vehicle was purchased certified pre owned from Colonial Honda and my mother is only the second owner The vehicle has a battery less than a year old The bad: The vehicle has been sitting for around a year and the check engine light is on.
Again the car starts, drives, and function properly.
The vehicles brakes make noise when in use.
I suspect that would go away when driven for more than a few minutes.
The vehicles interior is overall in great condition but there are visible stains on the drivers seat and the front floor mats could use a shampooing or replacement.
All in all I believe the car is in great shape and would make an excellent daily driver for anyone.
The car has been incredibly reliable for our family over the years and I'm confident the next owner will get many more years out of it considering its a Honda with just barely over 100,000 miles.
If the check engine light wasn't on I would ask for more but considering that I believe $8500 is a very fair price.
