Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Financial Analyst Intern, you will design, develop and implement revenue cycle financial reports for use by executive management at Parallon and client organizations.
The Financial Analyst intern designs and develops analyses to solve complex operational, financial and/or accounting problems.
You will review performance benchmarks and assist in business forecasting.
During your time as a Parallon Financial Analyst Intern, you will learn entry-level management and technical skills within a Shared Service Center (SSC).
This Intern position will provide currently enrolled college/university students the opportunity to perform work and collaborate on projects for various Revenue Cycle departments.
What you will do in this role:
Builds a strong understanding of Parallon revenue cycle operations, including business processes, tools, and technologies.
Technical aptitude and some experience with data tools, such as SQL, Business Objects, Essbase, and Tableau or Power BI.
Develops and produces month-end and ad-hoc reports for internal and external use.
Promotes efficiency and repeatability of reporting and analytical tasks, including documentation and automation as appropriate.
Communicates regularly with Shared Service Center and other field executives to ensure smooth data collection and reporting processes.
Coordinates work with other analysts to ensure flexibility in meeting Parallon’s reporting needs.
Strong attention to detail in order to ensure the accuracy of the data being reported.
What qualifications you will need:
Present enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s program
A GPA of 3.
0 or higher
A degree program majoring in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related field is preferred.
