This position is responsible for contributing to support of the cost structure and economics at the site with the commercial team as well as maintaining internal controls at the site.
A strong partnership with the Plant Manager as an advisor is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Establish strong partnership with Plant Manager and Plant Leadership team to guide site through the Annual Operating Plan commitments as well as work through the strategic factors in a longer-term Plan of Record.
• Partner with key leadership members in both the Plant and Commercial organizations to make financial decisions to drive business objectives.
• Prepare the monthly and annual financial forecasts.
• Develop and execute strategies and standards related to accounting policy, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, budgeting, and financial systems and controls.
• Provide accounting advice and policy interpretation.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes for assigned site.
• Coordinate cross functional activities required to develop the Annual Operating Plan and Plan of Record.
• Contribute to the development of internal controls to preserve the organization’s assets and oversee audits of policies and procedures.
• Continually review processes and procedures to ensure effective financial controls and efficiencies.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field • CPA or CFA preferred • 7+ years of progressive Finance experience, including leadership roles • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
